North Atlantic Orcas

February 17 @ 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Hosted by Fernando Ugarte and Filipa Samarra, this workshop is meant primarily for scientists already working with killer whales in the North Atlantic and will focus on improving the collaboration and sharing of data. Without going in depth into specific topics, we expect to gain an overview of existing databases regarding photo ID, genetics, biological samples, acoustics, telemetry, etc. A small portion of the time will be used to talk about ongoing projects and possible future collaborations regarding killer whales and pilot whales.
